Our 1968 Chevelle Malibu hardtop is an impressive clone of the classic SS396 Chevelle. It was a 136…. code from the factory, but was restored in 2019 to honor the legendary SS396. The exterior is stunning. Starting with a professional two-stage Ermine White respray, it is accented with SS396 hood, SS396 logos, excellent chrome/stainless and flat black rocker panels. The stance is pure muscle car on 15”x8” SS rally wheels and new Hercules white-letter radials. It's black cloth/vinyl interior has been carefully restored and features bucket seats, 3-spoke alloy wheel, center console and after-market gauge cluster w/SunPro tach. Under the hood sits a rebuilt 454ci big-block that has been bored to 468ci. It is fitted with mild cam, aluminum intake and dual-feed Holley. Breathing through tube headers and a free-flowing exhaust, it produces the unmistakable sound of a 'Big Rat'. A TH350 TurboHydramatic automatic feeds the10-bolt differential with good street gears. The chassis is equipped with power steering and 4-wheel drum brakes manage deceleration. This is a Chevelle to drive and enjoy.
